BMW supercar will be launched in 2016

Can BMW will unveil a new supercar that old M1 in 2016 , with power up to 650 horsepower, allowing maximum speeds can exceed 320 km/h.

Magazine Autobild and Automobilwoche ( Germany ) said that BMW plans to reproduce the M1 supercar . The car was introduced between 1978 and 1981, the number of 460 units shipped . Four years ago, BMW launched the M1 Hommage concept , a product is a blend of classic style and the most modern technology . If this information is correct , the M car will be produced in 2016 , two years after BMW introduced i8 hybrid sports car .

The new car can be labeled BMW M1 , M8 and M10 . According to some sources , these vehicles can be equipped with a V8 engine , the capacity to produce 600 to 650 horsepower , maximum speed achieved is between 328 km / h . With this modernization , BMW hopes to beat the Audi R8 , Porsche 911 and Mercedes SLS AMG . Also, by using lightweight materials such as aluminum production , magnesium , titanium and different types of plastics , so the total weight is anticipated to close at 1,250 kg . Some of the German magazine said that the price of the M supercar will be sold at around 250,000 Euro.
